Dakota District Pipes & Drums at the Winnipeg Scottish Festival 2011

Thousands have thrilled to the sound of Dakota District Pipes & Drums at parades and concerts. Dedicated to a musical tradition that has been in existence for 500 years, the band brings music from the Highlands and the Scots hillsides to its listeners, along with an equally strong Irish piping tradition. Based in Sioux Falls, the nonprofit groups purpose is to expose the general public to bagpipe music.
